Oh Canada Oh Canada

I just got back from Canada. It was ridiculous. I just spent 26 hours in the car. SICK! We only stayed in Canada for like 5 hours. It was a complete mess. I will share details about it later.

My grammy had no idea on who I was. I guess that is expected though. My grandpa Al has cancer. He has 2 big tumors on his face. It was so sad. I will probally being going back up to Canada within the year for one of my favorite things to do ever...funreals. YEAH....not.

But, I did get to spend time with my crazy cousin Catherine and the Pittsburgh gang. Cute pictures to be up shortly.

Now, back in the car to go visit Julie in Muncie...I think secertly I love being in the car for days.

On good news: computer is back from Best Buy land and it is fixed!

Until next time

Loves of my Life right now...tv/book!

Back in da ville. Just watching some Bravo. The new season of the one of the world's best show ever started again...praise Jesus.

PROJECT RUNWAY SEASON 5!!!

I hope the designers are as good as last year. I mean last year there was Rami, Christian, Jillian and Chris... I could keep going with the amazing designers. I haave hope, Tim and Hiedi wouldn't let me down. It makes me happy that this wonderful part of my life is back. I needed good tv in my life.

In other great fabulous assests in my life is the book... I Heart Recruitment. Yes I said I Heart Recruitment is the title of the book. So you know this book would end up on my bookshelf. Duh! I am completly obsessed with Recruitment. Sadly. I need to go to like Recruiment Obsessed Addiction class. The reason why I know about this book is that when I was at NLC one of the authors, Jessica, gave an amazing presentation. AMAZING! And, she knew where little Zeta Beta was...at Union...she checked us out. Wierd. But awesome. I promote and recommend this book for anyone who is big up the their sorority world like on exec board or if you are a party head or want to be or is Rush Chair (in KD terms...VP-Membership---like me!).
Anyway. I read it in about 2 hours. no joking. I was taking notes, nodding my head and laughing. I loved it. I really think that this book has amazing things to say for any chapter. I know for a fact that this book will make an impact on the Zeta Beta recruitment this year. We are going to rock it. Chi O and Zeta better watch themself. I know we will have some haters on campus. What is new? NOTHING. But, our recruitment will rock. We are bringing value to recruitment. WATCH OUT... THE GOLDEN GIRL WILL BRING HER TOUCH TO RECRUITMENT. Anyway. this is my pet peeve, soap box and passion.

Peace Out A-Town

Well.
The time has come.
Back to the barn.
YAAA-HOOO!
That is how I feel about.
NOT!
Well I am going to swim
and paint
and sleep.

But, hopefully sleep.
I think I will be back like in a few days.
Then I am either going to Canada or Flordia.
I don't know which one.
I haven't decided...
or care.

I saw Wall-e and Hancock at the drive in with Allison and Sara Kennedy.
Both of them were good.
Wall-e was so cute...beautiful.
PS. Sara Kennedy is engaged.
I have failed in life.

Until next time.

the man who holds my heart in his hands.

So everyone knows that every now and then I get hooked on a new guy in the world. There has been: Orlando, Anderson, Nick Thompson. Well here is the new one....drum roll please...

Jason Mesnick (pictures above) from the Bachorlette. He was the one who DeAnna broke his heart. He was the one that was not picked, duh, but he was in the final two. She picked Jesse. Oh well. She is cut out of my life, we are done being friends. And, really all that I learned about her was how much Brad broke her hear. WHATEVER~ you broke Jason's...you hoe. But back on Jason, I felt so bad for Jason. I like tried 4 times for this boy in the finale and the after the final rose special. I NEVER CRY BC OF A TV SHOW! Like pause (thank you tivo) and walk away crying and fell out of the chair into fetal position crying. IT WAS BAD.

Well, I love him. I always thought he was perfect in the show. But, close to the end, I was like DAMN...MARRY ME! He has a son, Ty, who is 3 and he is so cute. He is the little boy in the picture. I just love him. I have nothing else to say.

Good traits of Jason: he is duh a great father, he is funny, smart, sensitive, he loves sports, adventourous, caring, dead sexy, romantic, comforting, just a BLAST. He is everything I have ever wanted in a dude. I just love him. He kinda looks like Baby Daddy Hammond...which makes Travis hotter...ps.

So earlier this week I was bored looked up his name and felt like a stalker. I don't want to get into details but I just felt like it. And I didn't even try. I want to barf that is how wierd and gross I felt. It wasn't anything too bad but still. Maybe I am growing from my stalker phase in life. AWESOME. Anyway, while I was looking for a picture to put on here for you guys I found some gross and straight stalker stuff out. I didn't read any of it but some lady found his divorce papers online...FREAKY! That is way too much for me.

Well. I love Jason. He is wonderfully amazing. The dream of the guy I have ever wanted in life. Now if only he was a few years younger, and around here (he lives in Seattle- not stalking they say it on the show-hello the take home date) and to love me back.

One day. My Jason will come. I mean if Jason did come. I wouldn't hate it.

boom boom!

The Fourth of July has come and gone. Fun and memoriable times with the ever so crazy family of mine. Seeing all my precious cousins makes me want to have babies...and lots of them...SICK! They are just so precious. I got to see the newest babies in the ever expanding family, Layla and Grayson. There were over 21 people at the barn for this time of year.
Basically all that happened was...
mud (lots of if), lake time, naked slip in slide ( I had clothes on), cousins everywhere, lots of food, and hinding the fact that we like to cuss and drink. oh and fireworks.

It was ok. I will put on pictures later. My computer is being super slow. I guess that is what I get for being at the library. It will not let me on facebook...how will I live without that...I have like 20 new notifications.

My plan for the next few days are to clean, sleep, paint, work on Julie's skit for the Sigma Sigma chapter, read and watch movies...and swim if the weather premits.

until next time!

The Family is Coming

Well... I am going back to the boring barn. YEAH! So my only contact with the outside world will be my cell phone.

But, my whole family is coming! Like My Aunt Liz and Aunt Lisa! The wacked out side of my family is coming! Yeah! It will be fun. I love my family.

I probably wouldn't update for a while just because I don't have the internet at home. Sadness. Also, I have to send my computer away to get fixed. Finally. How long ago was the tornado and I'm just now getting it fix. I will be dying of boredom. Thank God for the library. And reading books...
New book: I Heart Recruitment

Until next time....

I am a Rock Star!

I am not what one would think as a rock star. I'm not traveling on tour with major acts as Bon Jovi, Coldplay or the Spice Girls. I can play instruments: saxophone, bassoon and drums.

But, I do feel that I am on tour with an amazing act Kappa Delta. Well...the Zeta Beta chapter.

I first went to Memphis to meet up with some members of my chapter to go to Headquarters. We were the guinea pigs to the new CDCs. They are AMAZING! I want all of them to come to our chapter. We helped them with their workshops they learned to help chapters with Membership mainly. We got to meet National Vice President Membership Betty Milkey. I LOVE HER! It was a lot of fun to hang out in HQ, with the new CDCs and major a major National Kay Dee Lady. This isn't something that happens all the time. Matter of fact this is the first time a chapter has come into the training of the CDCs. My favorite part was spending the night. Only 6 of us stayed and there wasn't much sleeping going on. We took so many funny pictures within the house. Melissa's sliding across the marble floor was priceless.

Two week later I was flying to Boston for NLC (National Leadership Conference). I learned so much about Kappa Delta and to better our chapter. I also got to meet the rest of the National Council (yes...and Bonnie). They knew who Zeta Beta was and knew who I was. Betty gave me a big hug when she saw me...I think she loves me. Bonnie is more than you think. She is funny, crazy, personal and she just has this glow around her. I finally got to meet Kristen Love my CDM...she like my bff! I love her!!!!! I was told that my formal report is floating around in the world of KD and everyone loves it. Kristen asked for my permission for my ideas to go to other chapters. I was forced to the CDC meeting (even though I have an extra year until that point) and Beth Grey and Kristen told me about becoming a CDM in the future.

My favorite memory was when we went to go get the formal pictures taken with the national council on the last day. And when we walked up they started yelling and clapping for Zeta Beta. They were so loud. I loved it. I almost fell over and cried. It was beautiful. It was great to feel that love and warmth and importances. Second, was the nights with Michelle and Julie (VP-M from Iowa St- Sigma Sigma) just hanging out and doing cheers and some singing late at night.

It was a blast!

***Snaps to***
New CDCs!: Jen, Jennifer, Jessie, Sarah, Georgia, KJ, Erin
Zeta Betas who stayed the night at HQ: Bekah, Molly, Jill, Melissa, Erin
Boston Crew: Michelle, Heather, Melanie and Julie (honor ZB!)

till next time!

Fresh New Page

So my darling best Lynn Ashley Davis aka Fat or Hubby has been pushing me to write on my livejournal from back in the day. However, she recently stopped and started this blog for me. I love it. She made it so pretty.

*****snaps for Lynn*******

Hopefully, I will write on this more than I do on other things... I tend to forget to share my knowledge with the world. Shocking once you get to know me and the fact I am not afraid to share anything.

I have tons of entries to share (be patient all in good time)
  1. Kappa Delta Headquarter visit
  2. Kappa Delta NLC in Boston
  3. Planning for Recruitment
  4. Boring life at the Barn
  5. Kappa Delta anything
If you haven't caught on that mainly my life is devoted to the wonderful world of...KAPPA DELTA.

So prepare yourself for a lot of that yummy stuff.

Until next time...
